Terms of service
Last updated 4 November 2026. Draft for review by a UK solicitor before launch.
These terms govern your use of the velynt.co.uk website, your Velynt account and any Velynt agent software and signal service (together, the “Service”). They are a contract between you and Velynt Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number and registered office to be inserted before launch). By creating an account or downloading an agent you agree to them.
1. What Velynt provides
Velynt licenses software (“agents”) that you install on your own computer and connect to a brokerage account that you own. For a subscribed agent, Velynt also provides a data feed of trading signals (“signals”) that the agent uses while your licence is valid. Velynt provides software and data. It does not provide investment advice, portfolio management, brokerage, custody or any regulated financial service, and is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
2. Your account and your responsibilities
- You must be 18 or over and legally able to trade leveraged products where you live.
- You choose which agent to use, the broker account it runs on and the risk settings it runs under. You can change the settings or stop the agent at any time.
- Every order the agent places is placed by software running on your computer under your instructions. You are responsible for every trade and its consequences.
- You are responsible for your broker's terms, any prop-firm rules, your computer, your connection and your taxes.
- You must keep your login private and must not share a licence or an agent download.
3. Licence
For each paid subscription Velynt grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to install the agent on up to two devices you control and to receive signals for that agent while the subscription is active. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, rent or share the agent or the signals, or use them to build a competing product. All intellectual property in the Service remains Velynt's.
4. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe, plus VAT where applicable.
- You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; the licence runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew.
- Consumer cooling-off: you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund, unless you asked us to start the signal service immediately and the agent has received signals, in which case you acknowledge that the right to cancel is lost once the service has begun.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next renewal.
5. When a licence ends
When a subscription ends or is revoked, signals stop. The agent continues to manage the exit of positions it opened for seven days so that no position is left unmanaged, then becomes read-only. Positions keep the stop-loss orders held at your broker.
6. No guarantee of results
Trading results vary with markets, brokers, settings and timing. Records on this site are historical and are labelled demo or live. Velynt makes no promise that any agent will be profitable or will avoid loss. See the risk disclosure, which forms part of these terms.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the signal service available on every trading day but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Support is by email at support@velynt.co.uk.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud or anything that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, Velynt is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, broker or prop-firm actions, or indirect or consequential loss, and Velynt's total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid in that period. The Service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows.
9. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to extract, scrape or redistribute signals, circumvent licence checks, interfere with the Service, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
10. Data
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. Trade results are sent to Velynt only if you switch that on in your dashboard.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms; material changes are notified by email 30 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting your statutory rights as a consumer.
